Volvo 940 Speedometer Capacitors for Yazaki Gauge Cluster

Volvo 940 gauge clusters made by Yazaki, or more specifically the speedometer, suffer from a failure where the speed reading is intermittent or always 0. This occurs due to the electrolytic capacitors on the circuit board leaking. Capacitance will no longer be in specification or even worse, it will destroy circuit traces. When this happens, cruise control, the odometer and the speedometer will all stop working.

Soldering skill required for installation. Repair assistance available if you cannot do it yourself. This kit works best when the capacitors have not yet leaked. The part number on the cluster should be checked as a different set of capacitors were used depending on the model. These are quality capacitors with <=15% precision.
